Yesterday, we started on this grand experiment. We met for dinner and drinks. After a touch of liquid courage, we walked back to Kate’s apartment and chose a dating website. Kate chose e-harmony and I helped her fill out the questions. Having been fortunate enough never to have had to partake in the online dating scene, I was struck by how much work it was just to sign up. I think it took us over an hour to answer all the questions. Once you officially generated a profile, there were more things to fill out! It felt like work to find love online. It’s a process, I suppose. I plan to help her complete the rest of the profile today as we were both pretty beat by the time we finished round 1. Now, just so that you are aware of the ground rules, the emails and information all go to Kate. However, I get some say in the final cut.
